SEIU "Trash Talks" at Metro School Board Action!
After the Metro School Board's proposal to cut some 100 custodial and 40 teacher jobs, SEIU, Jobs With Justice, and Stand for Children held a rally and press conference at the board's office on Monday.
The theme of the rally was "Trash Talk", in which dozens of bags of trash were piled in front of the MNPS administration offices to demonstrate how cutting jobs of custodians will impact the safety and health of children in Nashville's public schools.
