At the monthly meeting on Oct 23, the NESEA Board received a list of candidates from the Election Committee who reported that several qualified members had initially accepted nomination, with a contested race apparent for 3 of the 4 offices, but some candidates reconsidered after nominations closed resulting in a single candidate for each office.A quorum being present, a motion was offered to affirm the slate of unopposed candidates by white ballot, which passed unanimously.
