Memphis Schools Bargaining Committee Chosen

Building engineers and cafeteria managers from across the city came together to nominate and elect a new Bargaining Committee to represent support staff from Memphis City Schools in upcoming contract negotiations.  This new Bargaining Committee will begin meeting in early March.  “With our contract expiring, we’ve got to come together now more than ever,” said building engineer James Fleming.

Members should expect a bargaining survey in the mail that they can fill out and return to the Union.  “This is a contract for all the members and it is only going to be as strong as they are involved,” said Barbra Hill.
